Very friendly atmosphere. Her prices are reasonable. And, she is very nice. It's a blessing. She is in the same plaza as dry cleaners. I was able to get a piece taken off my dress so that it wouldn't be damaged. I then took it to the cleaners. They used to do this back in the day in the dry cleaners. Once I picked up my dress from cleaners she put it back on. It looks like it never was taken off. I was definitely pleased.

I pulled up to the tailor I had used for years and was shocked to see it had closed it's doors! I called a friend who (always looks so stylish at any event). I need a dress altered for a wedding on the East Coast in 4 days! She recommended JC Alterations at Mingo, said they are great! Complicated, fast turnaround... NO PROBLEM! They are wonderful sweet people who will take great care of me and that they did!!! Thank you JC Alterations, you have yourself a new life long customer! I'll be sure and recommend you!!!

"I brought a few pairs of pants in to be hemmed and taken in slightly, and they were ready the very next day. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and efficient. The tailoring is flawless, and the pants fit perfectly now without bunching up or dragging. Highly recommend.❤️✅

JC alterations quite literally saved my wedding dress! Joyce was so kind and sweet in helping me get my wedding dress altered in less than a month. I could not recommend them enough. I have a large ball gown and they did amazing work, hemming it and taking off straps that I didn’t want there. I will be back again if I ever need something else hemmed!

MY WEDDING DRESS DREAMS CAME TRUE HERE! I had the GREATEST experience. I was so well taken care of. My dress never was part of my wedding stress. The greatest and sweetest service. If someone were to ever have a problem with this girl, then just know that THEY are the problem. I have never met a more kind and genuine person. She transformed my mom's 26 year old wedding dress perfectly to my vision for my big day. She was always looking for the next thing that I would need! HUGE thank you!

Joyce was absolutely amazing! I have had my wedding dress for 3 years and gained a little bit of weight to where it no longer fit. I was nervous to get it altered as I didn't want to end up completely out of a dress. She gave me a great consultation, putting my mind at ease, on taking it out, and adding a few features to make it my own. She was quick, easy to work with, affordable, and turned it into my dream dress. She's also a total sweetheart. I'll be taking all my alteration needs to her.

I got my wedding dress from David’s bridal and was super close to getting it altered there as well. I went in for a consultation and everything and it all just felt off, from what they said I had to get to even them pinning it and it looking totally off. I was afraid I’d get a wonky dress back after they pinned it wonky. So I looked for another option and found JC! I’m so glad I found them because she did an absolutely beautiful job and knew exactly what I wanted from the get go. She saw my vision and made me feel absolutely beautiful in the dress I envisioned on my big day! For context: David’s bridal ordered my dress way too big and I wanted to add a fabric belt and sleeves! It was perfect on my wedding day and done super quickly too!
